The relay race of the heart started in Rieti from the headquarters of the non-profit association Alcli ''Giorgio e Silvia'', with the Alessandra project. The Alessandra project is an initiative of the Rieti alcli together with Alessandra's husband, which started in June 2016. It has donated 420 wigs to women and girls who rely on this free service and all the others offered free of charge. The project is financed exclusively by private donations and self-supporting initiatives. It involves 18 volunteer hairdressers and several ALCLI volunteers, as well as volunteer psychologists who follow patients as they begin the delicate journey of hair loss, acceptance and wig choice. The parcel with the wig, which left Rieti with the words ''Alessandra's wish travels all over Italy'', is destined for an oncology patient in Milan. It will arrive on 7 May after a relay race of Angeli in Moto circles. On 3 May 2021 in Rieti, Italy.
