12P/Pons–Brooks Comet, Jupiter and the Moon are seen over L’Aquila, Italy, on April 10th, 2024. Crescent moon and Jupiter were in conunction and visible to the West after sunset. 12P/Pons–Brooks is a periodic comet with an orbital period of 71 years. The "devil" comet will reach its perihelion (closest distance from the Sun) on April 21st 2024.
