Indian devotees move towards Hindu Lord Ram's Temple and to take part in a Religious processsion on ocassion of Diwali festival,at Chitrakoot, about 128 kms from Allahabad ,on October 27,2019. Diwali celebrations bring happiness on the faces of every citizen in country India. Without the barrier of religion or caste, everyone celebrates the festival of joy. diwali means festival of lights lamps, business and the victory of good over evil. Devotees worship goddess Lakshmi because she incarnated on the new moon day (Amavasya) of the Kartik month during the churning of the ocean (Samudra-Manthan), hence the association of Diwali with Lakshmi. Tantra sadhana devotees worship goddess kali. One of another reason for this auspicious festival is The Victory of Rama: According to the epic ‘Ramayana’, it was the new moon day of Kartik when Lord Ram, Ma Sita and Lakshman returned to Ayodhya after vanquishing Ravana and conquering Lanka. The citizens of Ayodhya decorated the entire city with the earthen lamps and illuminated it like never before. During the time of 14 years of exile lord ram spent most of his exile in the forest of spiritual Chitrakoot he spent 11 years with Sita and Laxman. lakhs of devotees come in the week of Diwali and take a holy dip in mandakini river and perform procession and deepdan.
