A box draped with the flag of the republic is sitting in the Valdenoceda cemetery in Burgos, Spain. It contains the remains of Vicente Martin Garcia, who died in the Franco prison of Valdenoceda in 1941. These remains are being prepared for delivery to his relatives on the day when the annual Tribute to those who suffered reprisals from the prison in this town is celebrated.
