OPS Harapan is providing a health care service to villige. Kusial Baru, Tanah Merah, Kelantan *OPSHARAPAN is a community initiative by passionate individuals to unite Malaysians in providing flood aid to the East Coast of Peninsula Malaysia.According to Reuters from late December 2014 onwards heavy rainfall caused widespread flooding in the Malaysian states of Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang and Perak. At least 21 people died in the floods, which forced 250,000 people to evacuate their homes. According to the Malaysian Government, as of 2nd January, almost 85,000 remained in shelters. Kelantan’s Flood Disaster Operations Committee chairman Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed was quoted as saying that flood damage in Kelantan alone would reach RM200 million. I have been to Kota bharu, Kelantan in 2013 for my photo project and the city gives me a very strange feeling that I’m in a totally new place such middle of somewhere else rather than within Malaysia because of the Jawialphabet displays in anywhere and their own calendar used. With a great help from local friends I finessed my project successfully. Since than Kelantan remains as a very special city to me. When I heard about news of the flood disaster of Kelantan I feel very sorry and painful. Last day of 2014I decided to visit the state for document the current situation of after the flood and spread throughout the world. It took about 12hours drive instead of 5hours. Because of unstable and damaged roads. The victims of flood are needed more water and rapid recovery of road andhouse to return their life and wish for control facilities for minimised damages of flood.
