In Warsaw, Poland, on August 6, 2025, MP Jan Kanthak attends the ceremony of accepting the Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Armed Forces at Marshal Jozef Pilsudski Square. Karol Nawrocki, supported by the Law and Justice party, wins the presidential election with a 50.89 percent majority, defeating Rafal Trzaskowski of the Civic Platform. On August 6, he is sworn in as President of the Republic of Poland in front of the National Assembly, and the ceremony of assuming command over the Polish Armed Forces takes place. To mark the occasion, a march of his supporters and the Law and Justice party marches through the streets of the capital.
