A cannon and war-related specimens are pictured at the Ruhr Museum inside the Zollverein UNESCO World Heritage Site in Essen, Germany, on January 22, 2026. The pit and surrounding establishments are one of the biggest sites in Europe for coal and steel production until the 1980s and are declared a UNESCO heritage site.

One of the apartments is destroyed by the Russian drone strike in Dnipro, Ukraine, on November 10, 2025. On the night of November 8, 2025, a Russian drone hits a multi-storey apartment block, killing three people and injuring thirteen others, including two children. The strike destroys apartments between the 4th and 6th floors. In response to the tragedy, the city of Dnipro declares November 9 and 10 as days of mourning to honor the victims of the attack.
