Nearly two dozen people are rescued after a boat bursts into flames in Hart Island, Bronx, New York, United States, on June 7, 2025. After 8 p.m. on Saturday, three people are pulled out of the water from the boat fire. One person is in critical condition, another is in serious condition, and the third is in stable condition. Nineteen others are able to swim to shore to Hart Island. They are transported to City Island to be evaluated. ''The boat, in order to fit that many people on it, has to be a pretty decent size boat.
