On Tuesday morning at approximately 1:28 AM, two NYPD police officers walk in front of 1585 Broadway within the confines of the Midtown South Precinct and are approached by an unidentified individual who pepper sprays them in the eyes and face in a random attack near Broadway and West 47th Street in Times Square. Two ambulances are present at the scene and rush the officers to the hospital with lights and sirens. One injured officer is on a stretcher inside the ambulance with breathing apparatus being utilized. Both officers are listed in stable condition.
