Rebellion Extinction activists are blocking traffic on Rivoli Street by attaching themselves to wooden structures to prevent police from dislodging them on Thursday, October 10, 2019, while hundreds of activists of the international Rebellion Extinction movement who are currently participating in a global climate change awareness movement by occupying the Place du Chatelet and the Change Bridge in Paris have begun their fourth day of occupation of these places. For the occasion and in view of the inactivity of the governments, they extended the area of the makeshift camp by also occupying the nearby rue de Rivoli, thus blocking traffic all day long.

Debris and twisted metal litter the street in front of the local Post Office following a violent robbery attempt during the early hours of the morning in San Ferdinando di Puglia, Italy, on November 30, 2025. A commando unit uses a stolen excavator to smash through the building's facade in an attempt to extract the ''Postamat'' ATM safe. The robbery fails following the intervention of the Carabinieri, though the criminals escape after blocking access roads with three-pronged tire-puncturing spikes and burning vehicles. The attack leaves the building structurally compromised.
