Protest Against The Budget Cuts For 2026 Called By All Unions
French MP Anne Stambach-Terrenoir (LFI - France Unbowed) tries to speak to a police officer. Called by all trade unions united, dozens of thousands of people take to the streets in Toulouse, France, on September 10, against Macron's economic policies after a day called 'Bloquons tout' (Block everything). It launches at the beginning of the summer on social networks against Macron's politics: downsizing the welfare state to cut taxes for businesses, rising the Defense budget and Interior Ministry, and his choice of conservative Sebastien Lecornu as the new Prime Minister. His pro-business stance angers French people who blockade everywhere in France on September 10. Riot police receive orders to be without any tolerance towards blockades and use volleys of tear gas canisters.
