Ten leftist parties merge in Nepal to form the ''Nepali Communist Party.'' The new party includes the CPN-Maoist Center and the CPN-Unified Socialist led by former Prime Ministers Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also known as Prachanda, and Madhav Kumar Nepal, along with eight others, on November 5, 2025.
