Insects Sri Lanka Weevil

A Sri Lanka weevil (Myllocerus undecimpustulatus undatus) walks on vegetation at Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge near Boynton Beach, Florida, on June 3, 2026. An invasive pest first recorded in Florida around 2000, the species has since established itself across dozens of state counties and is known to damage more than 150 plant species, threatening Florida's agricultural and horticultural industries.
