Continued air strikes on the Gaza Strip

A Palestinian Relatives mourn on Hamas militant who medics said was killed by an Israeli air strike which took place before a five-hour humanitarian truce, mourns during his funeral in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip July 17, 2014. Palestinians rushed to shops and banks on Thursday as the truce agreed by Israel and Hamas came into force, hours after the Israeli military said it had fought off gunmen who infiltrated from Gaza. Gaza health officials say at least 224 Palestinians, mostly civilians, have been killed. In Israel, one civilian has been killed by fire from Gaza, where the Israeli military says more than 1,300 rockets have been launched into the Jewish state. The temporary truce took effect on Thursday at 10 a.m. (Photo by Abed Rahim Khatib/NurPhoto)
