Shell casings are littering the crime scene where a 4-year-old boy is in critical condition after being shot in broad daylight in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on April 9, 2024. In the 3300 block of W. North Avenue at approximately 3:49 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, the young male victim was traveling in a vehicle when he was struck in the back by gunfire. He is being transported to Stroger Hospital and is initially reported to be in critical condition. Chicago Police are investigating the incident.
