Views of the historic Sperry Chalet in Glacier National Park, Montana, United States, on September 7, 2025. Originally built in 1914 by the Great Northern Railway, the backcountry lodge is gutted by the 2017 Sprague Fire, leaving only its stone walls standing. Following a major preservation and reconstruction project led by the National Park Service and partners, the chalet is fully rebuilt and reopened in 2020, restoring its role as one of the park's iconic high-alpine accommodations.
