All the Danish flags in front of the U.S. Embassy are taken down in Copenhagen, Denmark, on February 5, 2026, following an agreement between Denmark's Veterans Association and the United States Embassy. There are several hundred Danish flags in the flower boxes in front of the United States Embassy. Fifty-two of the flags, bearing the names of the fallen Danish heroes from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, are planted in a dignified manner during the 'No Words' demonstration on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
