The 16-member squad is led by skipper Rohit Kumar Paudel, with the world's second-best T20I all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee as the vice-captain. The Nepali cricket team is posing for a group photo at TU Cricket Stadium in Kathmandu, Nepal, on May 4, 2024. The squad, announced by the Cricket Association of Nepal, includes Rohit Paudel as captain, along with Dipendra Singh Airee, Asif Sheikh, Anil Kumar Shah, Kushal Malla, Lalit Rajvanshi, Karan KC, Gulsan Jha, Sompal Kami, Pratish GC, Sandeep Zora, Abinash Bohra, Sagar Dhakal, and Kamal Singh Airee. Nepal, which is in Group D, will face South Africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Netherlands in the competition. The Rhinos are preparing for their first match of the T20 World Cup against the Netherlands on June 4, followed by a match against Sri Lanka on June 12. They will also play against South Africa on June 15 and Bangladesh on June 17.
