A man is dead after a woman fatally stabbed him following a verbal altercation that turned physical in Chicago, Illinois, on May 1, 2024. The incident occurred in the 0-100 block of N. Lotus at approximately 10:29 p.m. Wednesday evening, when a male and female were arguing in an apartment. The argument escalated, and the male reportedly grabbed the female by the neck. She then took a knife and stabbed him on the right side of his neck. The suspect fled the scene and was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The female was transported to a local hospital with bruises on her face and body. Police are currently investigating the incident.
