Task Force of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing requested the local government to extend the disaster emergency transition period for the next two months or until April 24 2019 in order to boost the completion of temporary shelter construction for refugees, which currently can only be completed as many as 428 units out of the planned 699 units. The earthquake with tsunami and liquefaction in Palu City, Donggala Regency and Sigi District on September 28, 2018 killed more than 4,000 people and more than 172,000 people were displaced due to homelessness.
