8 March 2025
A woman holds a placard reading 'Love not rape'. Thousands of women and men take to the streets of Toulouse, France, on March 8, 2025, for International Women's Day. This year, the motto focuses on sexism, the far-right, Trump, and sexual violence. One theme of the protest addresses US President D. Trump, who bars words like 'woman, women, gender, transgender, sexism, machism, etc.' from governmental websites. Trump also terminates the D.E.I. (diversity, equity, and inclusion) programs and demands that corporations cut all DEI initiatives. Protesters aim to raise awareness about sexism, machism, and the disparity of rights between men and women in society. Protesters also denounce rape, sexual violence, and violence towards women. Trade unions such as CGT, FSU, and Unsa are also present at the march.

19 October 2024
A demonstrator holds a sign reading ''make love not war'' during a gathering at the Place de La Republique in Paris, France, on October 19, 2024, to pay tribute to Paul, a 27-year-old cyclist who dies after being run over by a car earlier in the week. The death of a cyclist in Paris, crushed by an SUV driver, highlights the conflictual cohabitation between bicycles and cars, while alternatives to cars grow significantly in cities. In 2023, 226 cyclists are killed on France's roads, 18% more than in 2019.

4th Day Of Attempt Of The Cnamo, Police Special Unit, To Dislodge 'ecureuils' Who Live In Tree On The Planned A69 Highway
20 September 2024

20 September 2024
A zadist makes a 'love' sign to squirrels living in the trees of the 'Verger' ZAD. For the fourth day, Gendarmerie and CNAMO try to dislodge squirrels from the trees they occupy at the 'Verger' ZAD (Zone to Defend). The 'Verger' ZAD is situated on the planned and disputed A69 highway project. As Gendarmerie and CNAMO intervene, NGE/Atosca begins the destruction of the house and the cutting of all the trees. The CNAMO is a specialized unit of Gendarmes to unlock protesters. Squirrels live in the trees of the 'Verger' ZAD. This day, Gendarmes of the CNAMO catch only one squirrel. Atosca cuts the tree immediately. They try without success to catch the other squirrels and mutilate Zineb, an old walnut tree, to catch two squirrels. The main collective 'La Voie est Libre' (The Way is Free) wants the highway to be stopped until all the justice decisions on the content are given. All expropriations for farmers are not cleared. Opponents of this project say that the reprofiling of the N126 will be sufficient for the 6,000 vehicles planned per day and would cost far less money. The A69 highway will cost EUR512 million (in 2018 euros without inflation) for 53 kilometers. More than 100 protected species and 400 hectares of agricultural fields will be destroyed in Verfeil, France, on September 19, 2024.
