The New York City Police Department investigates the discovery of remains within the confines of the 104 precinct in Queens, New York, United States, on August 6, 2025. On Wednesday morning at approximately 10:30 AM, a Department of Transportation worker finds remains that are skeletal in nature in a black garbage bag. The discovery is made along the Jackie Robinson Parkway, near Exit 1. Members of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner remove the remains as the Crime Scene Unit and Anthropology team investigate. At this time, there are no arrests. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death, and the remains will be studied to determine if they are human in nature.
