Residents wear Balinese traditional clothing and local youth perform a Balinese dance during a thematic village competition to celebrate Indonesia's independence day in Tanjungrejo village, Malang city, East Java, Indonesia, on August 24, 2025. The villagers are predominantly Muslim and of Javanese ethnicity. They decorate the village area with the theme of Balinese culture, including miniature offerings and Janur in front of the residents' houses.
