Four People Killed; One Person Stable In Major Accident In Queens New York
Four people are being reported killed and one person is in stable condition following a crash on the Cross Island Parkway in Queens, New York, United States, on January 1, 2024. On New Year's Day, at approximately 5:50 AM, two cars are colliding on the curve from the northbound Cross Island Parkway to the southbound Whitestone Expressway, in a section of the parkway known as ''dead man's curve.'' Four people are being pronounced dead at the scene, while the fifth injured person is in stable condition. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
