Murikandy Pillayar Hindu temple (Murukandy temple) in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. This famous Hindu temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesh and is a place that all travelers and those that drive past stop, as it is believed that by breaking a coconut and offering prayers at this temple that God protect them while traveling and provide them with a safe journey.
