Hydrometeorological Disaster In Central Sulawesi
Residents clean the mud puddle inside their house in Pandere Village, Gumbasa District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia on September 14, 2020. Four houses in the village were damaged and a number of other houses were flooded with mud after heavy rains caused the river to overflow with mud. and inundated residents' houses on Sunday (13/9/2020) evening. Sigi Regency is an area that is very vulnerable to hydrometeorological disasters because it consists of many rivers and mountain slopes as well as high rainfall every year.
