Candlemas Day In Mexico

People of Mexico City visited the Parish of Santa María Magdalena located in the Coyoacán mayor's office, on the occasion of the Candlemas Day, to bless the Child God and celebrate the period that ends with the cycle of Christmas festivities inside the church catholic. The celebration is also related to the tradition of Tenerife, Spain, of the Fiesta de las Candelas, or candles, which arose from the story of the appearance of the Virgin Mary in the 14th century.
