Swedish cyclists hold a winning trophy after winning a cycling event, in Agra on November 27,2016.Uttar Pradesh now has Asia's first cycle highway. A first-of-its-kind project, the 207-km-long cycle highway runs between Etawah and Agra and was declared open on Saturday.Akhilesh Yadav, an avid environment and sports lover, flags off a cycle rally on Sunday from the eastern gates of Taj Mahal and conclude at Lion Safari, Etawah covering 207 kilometers in three days.

Members of the Muslim community gather at a sports complex to celebrate Eid al-Fitr in Mexico City, Mexico, on March 20, 2026. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting observed for spiritual growth and strengthening their relationship with God. According to the Imam or Sheikh, Ramadan derives from the Arabic root ''ar-ramad,'' meaning scorching heat. Muslims believe that in 610, the angel Gabriel appeared to the Prophet Muhammad and revealed the Quran, the holy book of Islam, during Laylat al-Qadr, or the ''Night of Power,'' which is believed to have occurred during Ramadan. The community fasts during this month to commemorate the revelation of the Quran. After prayers and breaking the fast, attendees socialize and enjoy dishes such as beef, kefta, rice, water, and dates.
