The housefly (Musca domestica) is a fly of the suborder Cyclorrhapha. Adults are gray to black, with four dark, longitudinal lines on the thorax, slightly hairy bodies, and a single pair of membranous wings. House Flies Carry Anthrax, Cholera, Salmonella, Tuberculosis, and Typhoid diseases like at least 65 illnesses that infect people. They have red eyes, set farther apart from the slightly larger female. To cool down, Housefly blows bubbles with their stomach juices through its mouth and then sucks them back in, scientists revealed. Flies rarely move whilst bubbling, but if disturbed, they quickly reingest the liquid – although a few dropped their bubbles. The deep interest in the way things organize or disorganize is the essence of this first monographic project of a contemporary artist at JAPAN HOUSE. Foam, a work that is on the ground floor of the house, are small bubbles or cells that constantly form on the surface of a soap-like liquid. They build up to form an autonomous structure, each bubble being conditioned to its cycle of birth and destruction, similar to the condition of our own cells, which circulate, metabolize, and die.
