The Rain Garden in Santa Ursula Coyoacan is part of a sustainable neighborhood project promoted by the city government, designed to mitigate flooding and infiltrate rainwater. This system, integrated into the Santa Ursula Ecological Park along with urban gardens and rainwater harvesting, seeks to improve sustainability and the retention, capture, and infiltration of rainwater into the soil to recharge aquifers and reduce runoff into the drainage system.
