In Nanning, China, on April 28, 2024, a primary school is featuring a ''sky vegetable garden + garden'' on its rooftop for teachers and students to experience farming. The rooftop sky garden, which is popular among the students, includes many ''grid plots'' with each ''grid'' containing different plants such as water spinach, eggplant, loofah, and chili. The school also offers a labor education base on the roof where teachers lead students in planting vegetables and fruits, learning about farming, and experiencing the joy of harvesting. The roof plantation is categorized into flowers, vegetables, melons, and fruits, and the planting process is both environmentally friendly and safe.
