Ducks cross a tram line in Christchurch, New Zealand, on August 27, 2021. New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has confirmed Auckland will remain in alert Level 4 lockdown until 31st August 2021 as the country battles with the latest COVID-19 outbreak. From 1st of September south of Auckland will move to alert level 3 while north of Auckland will remain in alert level 4 for at least 2 weeks. The total number of cases in the Delta outbreak is now 347.
