Independence Classic Announced for 2018 in Philadelphia, PA

Professional road racing is returning to Philadelphia after a one-year hiatus. The UCI 1.1 Independence Classic is scheduled for June 3, 2018 in Philadelphia, PA, as officially announced in September 2017. Melvin Moore has been volunteering at Philadelphia's bike race for 27 years (he missed one year) and his cheering approach was so admirable that fans were calling him over from the sideline to shake his hand.
