Historical Parade In Molfetta

Appearing during the historical parade of Molfetta on the occasion of the historical re-enactment "Reginae martyrum" in Molfetta on 28 August 2022. First edition of the historical re-enactment "Reginae martyrum", which revived the landing of the Byzantine icon of the Madonna dei Martiri on the shores of the city of Molfetta. The most characteristic points of Molfetta are involved, symbols of faith and Marian devotion but also of local culture and tradition throughout the world. In fact, the departure of the historical procession took place from the Cathedral of Molfetta instead, the landing of the Madonna on the Seminary quay and then continued the procession to the Basilica to deliver the Icon to the friars. The initiative was organized by Melphicta in the past with the collaboration of the Patronal Feasts Committee, the friars of the Basilica of Our Lady of the Martyrs, of the Municipality of Molfetta.
