A Spotted owlet (Athene brama) is a small uncrested owl with a round head and a short tail, sitting on electric wires and bending its neck and peering at late night in Tehatta, West Bengal, India on 13/05/2023. It is a nocturnal raptor (a bird of prey) found in tropical Asia from mainland India to Southeast Asia, except for Sri Lanka.
