Raising the Red Road hit and run case and asking for justice for the same, BJP in Kolkata marched in a rally towards Lalbazar led by Rupa Ganguly on 16th January, 2016. But the party members faced interruption from police after it crossed the break through the first barricade. Due to this the paty members sat right in front of the barricade. Party leader Rupa Ganguly protested against the action taken by police. The dynamic BJP leader pinpointed at Trinamool Congress saying that the party is preferring some people thereby leading to such criminal activities. Indicating towards CM Mamata Banerjee, the BJP Mahila Morcha President said that Police has helped Ambia, Sambia and Md Shorab to escape their crime. The rally was also joined by state BJP leaders like Kailash VIjay Bargia, Siddharth Nath Singh, and Rahul Sinha. A memorandum has been submitted to President against the matter.
