European Parliament Honors Polish WWII Hero Pilecki With Room Dedication

Pilecki, a Polish underground officer, voluntarily imprisoned himself at Auschwitz during World War II to gather intelligence and organize resistance. He is considered one of Poland's greatest wartime heroes and fought against both Nazi and Soviet-backed communist regimes.
