Ukraine Marks The Day Of Remembrance Of Children Who Died As A Result Of The Armed Aggression Of Russia Against Ukraine

Ukrainians look on the damaged Russian military machinery displayed during an event dedicated to the Day of remembrance of children who died as a result of the armed aggression of Russia against Ukraine, in Kyiv, Ukraine 4 June 2023. Ukrainians mark 4 June as the Day of remembrance of children who died as a result of the armed aggression of Russia against Ukraine. The purpose of the event is to draw the attention of the international community to war crimes and violation of the UN Convention on Children's Rights, according to the organizers. Since full-scale invasion of Russia of Ukraine in the period from 24 February 2022, 485 children have been killed, another 1 005 have been injured and almost 20 000 Ukrainian children were deported to the territory of Russia, according to Ukrainian officials.
