Officials have warned that Some of the worst air quality in recorded history will hit major cities in Ontario, Toronto included. Some of these regions in the Greater Toronto Area have recorded some of their worst air quality in recent times. There are around 149 active wildfires burning in Quebec and 52 fires burning in northern Ontario. Meteorologists are anticipating some of the most dreadful air quality ever recorded in Toronto and surrounding and the dangerous smoke plume may result in light ashfall accumulation in some areas.
