Arrests of Pakistan's syndicate with 100 Kgs of Methamphetamine in Indonesia

The National Narcotics Agency ( BNN) has arrested eight men, including four Pakistan nationals, with around 100 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine worth billions of rupiah in a drug bust at a furniture warehouse in Jepara, Central Java on Wednesday (27/1/2016). From the results of the raid found 194 engine generator sets containing the illicit drug methamphetamine weighing 1.5 kilograms to 2.0 kilograms hidden in the cylinder which is in the generator. Until now, BNN has counted 94 engine generators and found about 100 Kgs of methamphetamine. There are still 100 engine generators again wrapped so it is not known how the whole amount of methamphetamine were found. Head of The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Budi Waseso onThursday (28/1/2016), at the site of the raid, said the syndicate had been operating in Jakarta, Semarang and Surabaya. A total of four Pakistani nationals, namely Faiq, Amran Malik Riaz, and Toriq, and four citizens of Indonesia, Yulian, Tommy, Kristiadi, and Didier, has been named as a suspect.
