China's CPI Rose in H1

BEIJING, CHINA - JULY 17, 2023 - Citizens buy goods at a supermarket in Beijing, China, July 17, 2023. China's consumer price index (CPI) rose 0.7 percent year on year in the first half of this year, according to data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on the same day. Among them, fresh fruit prices in the food, tobacco and alcohol category rose 7.9 percent.
