Wildlife Ilegal Trades: Sumatran Tiger
Three convicted dealers in Sumatran tiger skins (Panthera tigris sumatrae) were seen before the end of the trial which sentenced the three convicts to two years in prison and a fine of ten million rupiah. Witnessed February 2, 2016 at the District Court in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia on. Previously, the prosecutor demanded that the three suspects be jailed for 2.5 years and fined 10 million rupiah for the case of trade in protected wildlife, namely selling a set of tiger skins.
