Hostage situation reported in Union City, New Jersey, United States on July 23, 2023. At approximately 5:30 PM, Sunday evening a hostage situation was reported. It was reported that there was one person holding another hostage in a residence. Around 7:30 PM, the situation was under control and an all clear was given.
