China Installed More Renewable Energy Than Coal Power

According to data released by the National Energy Administration on July 31, 2023, as of the end of June, China's renewable energy installed capacity reached 1.322 billion kilowatts, historically exceeding coal power, accounting for about 48.8% of China's total installed capacity. Data show that the current total installed power generation capacity of the country reached 2.71 billion kilowatts, an increase of 10.8%.
