850 years ago the laying of the foundation stone of the Tower of Pisa. The celebrations started on 9 August 2023, in Pisa, Italy. Indeed, much has passed since the world's most famous and photographed bell tower, a city symbol. A year-long program of celebrations was presented this morning by the Opera della Primaziale.
