The World's Dippest Geothermal Drill Started In Poland
A geothermal drill tower is seen in a village of Szaflary near Nowy Targ in mountainous Podhale region in souther Poland on August 25, 2023. The drill started in March 2023 and it will go 7000 meters deep, making it the deepest geothermal borehole in the world. The well will supply heating network in the area.
