The New Jersey Attorney General's Office is investigating a shooting involving police that occurred at West Side Park in Newark, New Jersey, United States on August 29, 2023. Tuesday afternoon around 4 p.m. at least one person was shot inside of West Side Park by police. The Essex County Prosecutor's Office and U.S. Marshals were on the scene.
