Mount Parnitha Wildfire Near Athens

Mount Parnitha wildfire at the outskirts of Athens with visible smoke after the catastrophic blaze, resulting in an environmental disaster, at the forest north of Athens, a National Park with protected wildlife. An S-64E Erickson Air-Crane with tail number 741 - N176AC as seen flying and dropping water assisting the ground forces of the fire brigade to extinguish the burning forest and create fire brakes. Sikorsky S-64E Skycrane, from Erickson Air-Crane company is under contract for the Hellenic Air Force and Fire Department. The iconic chopper has the name Marty.
