Restoration of Kharkiv Ecopark In Ukraine

LISNE, UKRAINE - SEPTEMBER 6, 2023 - An alpaca lives at the Valley of Alpacas location as Feldman Ecopark is recovering from Russian shelling, Lisne village, Kharkiv Region, northeastern Ukraine. The regional landscape park, which offered both animal care and therapy for children with special needs, was largely destroyed during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Six people - both workers and a volunteer - and several animals were killed in the shelling. Moreover, Russians stole vegetables intended for animals.
