After a motion for the arrest of Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, was passed at the plenary session of the National Assembly, tens of thousands of candlelight vigils hold in Seoul, centered on Lee Jae-myung's supporters on September 23, 2023 in Seoul, South Korea. The enraged participants emphasized that they would push for the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol and punish some Democratic Party members who supported the motion to arrest Lee Jae-myung.
